Vegas with the girls is an overloaded combination of an amazing suite, free drinks and lots of attention at the pool. Open yourself up to try new places, new food, meet new people. You are there with good friends. What better place, and who better to do it with. Vegas is what you make of it.
Gamble and late night snacks at the Aria, where we stayed. We flew out after work, so our first night in Vegas started late. Let me just say the Aria was amazing. Not smoke, because its new. Don’t underestimate how annoying Vegas smoke can be. You don’t notice how irritating it is until you are finally out of it. The Aria room was beautiful, and reasonable, on top of being smoke-free.
The ultimate Vegas experience….Pool Party at Liquid. My friend, Ivelise is a Vegas veteran. She had us up at to the pool by 11. All the champagne you can drink until 1. Wouldn’t do it any other way.
Splurge for the daybed, you’ll have a mini-party place by the pool. Plus a place to stash your stuff and a home-base for when you lose friends in the pool. We sustained our self on tuna tartar, buckets of beer and new, pool friends. Cost $55.
Buy a club hopper pass, called The All Night Pass. You’ll gain VIP access to seven clubs, with transportation between each club. Added bonus, you’ll party with the same people at each club. We had a blast with our eclectic group of new friends. Cost $50.
The pass is valid from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. (Sundays through Thursdays only), but clubs only operate from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., so you’ll get six solid hours of dancing in, if your high-heeled feet can take it. The seven clubs include: Pure at Caesars Palace, Chateau at Paris, Gallery at Planet Hollywood, the Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Saloon also at Planet Hollywood, Carnaval Court at Harrah’s and Crown and VooDoo, both at Rio.
We started at the Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Saloon at Planet Hollywood, then moved on to Gallery, Pure at Caesars Palace (my absolute favorite of all the clubs), then finished our dancing at Chateau at the tipy top of the Paris. My friend Shawna was proposed to by way of a cellphone message in the jammed packed Pure. It was so loud, and so crowded, you simply moved with the dance floor. And, if you move like Shawna, you apparently also get a marriage proposal!
The Chateau has amazing views of the strip and was a perfect place to end our 2nd night.
Note: looks like they are re-doing and renaming Pure at Caesars. I loved the all white décor at Pure, so I’m disappointed to hear they are re-doing it. Guess we’ll have to plan another girls weekend to check out the new digs.
Spa Day! Best way to detox from Vegas, is in Vegas. We booked ourselves into the Aria’s Spa. We ordered lunch in, and stayed all day.
